Things You Need To Know
Applications are now closed to our Overseas Volunteer Programme (July 2024).
Groups will be volunteering in Mozambique and the Philippines.
- – The overseas project is only one piece of the Volunteer Programme.
- – When you accept the placement you’re signing up to a seven month programme (training days and zoom info sessions)
- – The seven month programme includes training days in Cork and online info session
- – Emphasis on Global Citizenship Education (GCE)
- – Creative work: blogs and SDG videos
- – You are also required to attend one face to face debrief weekend
- – Training will begin in February
Important details
Fundraising
Your fundraising target is €3,495. This covers your:
- – pre-departure training
- – insurance
- – accommodation at your volunteer placement
- – flights to volunteer placement
- – grants for work with our overseas partners
- – de-brief weekend
