SERVE Volunteer Group Begins Philippines Programme
SERVE’s Philippines Volunteer Programme is now underway, with volunteers beginning their journey alongside partners and local communities.
Over the coming weeks, the group will take part in a range of activities rooted in learning, service, partnership and solidarity.
The programme will include classroom support, creative workshops, teacher training, community activities and practical project work. It is an opportunity for volunteers to learn from partners, build relationships, contribute practically and reflect on what solidarity means in action.
What the group will be involved in
Classroom Support
Volunteers will support education activities, assisting teachers and working with children across different age groups.
Art, Music and Dance
The group will help with creative workshops, creating space for participation, confidence and shared learning.
Teacher and Youth Workshops
The programme will include teacher training, SDG learning, safeguarding and youth-led activities.
Community Projects
Volunteers will also take part in practical projects such as stairway rebuilding and painting, working with local teams where needed.
Learning through partnership
At the heart of the Volunteer Programme is the opportunity to build relationships, learn from local partners and take part in work that is guided by the needs and priorities of the community.
