WHAT IS IT?
The Project
Our aim is to help people in Ireland gain a stronger understanding of global justice, the role of partnership and solidarity, and the importance of local ownership in achieving sustainable development.
To help with this, 40 volunteers attended workshops on global citizenship education and applied what they learned to create murals that convey the message of the Global Goals. In Mozambique, Zambia, India, and Ireland, four murals were made.
Our Murals
Check out the murals below for more details and enjoy the stories about the creative process of our volunteers.
Mural 1 - India

Mural 2 - Zambia
The talented and vibrant school community of Luyobolola collaborated with the SERVE 2023 volunteers to produce a beautiful mural symbolising the culture and community of Mazabuka.

Mural 4 - Ireland
