Enet Mukurazita, director of Young Africa Zimbabwe, spent a week in Dublin sharing information on vocational training and young people. Hosted by SERVE, Enet spoke at the Irish Aid Volunteering and Information Centre in Dublin on April 18th, where she outlined the work that Young Africa do in providing vocational training and life skills training to young people in Southern Africa. SERVE are calling on all of our supporters to help us in ensuring that Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and young people play an inportant part in the post-2015 development agenda.

Enet’s visit also included a meeting with Comhlámh, to share ideas around volunteering from the perspective of a host organisaton. She also visited the Dublin Aids Alliance, sharing resources and experiences of both educating the public and providing support for people living with HIV. A visit to St. Ultan’s provided an insight into innovative education and care for young people in the Cherry Orchard area.
