From Street Trader to School

In 2015 Maria Victorino Zondane studied Special Agriculture at Young Africa Agri-Tech, Dondo, Mozambique. When she was studying this course she had the opportunity to work with Young Africa’s partner ‘Land O’Lakes’ who specialise in dairy farming. Maria believes that the course and this opportunity helped her greatly. Before enrolling at Young Africa she sold corn in the city, now Maria operates from the Business Incubator and is busy cultivating rice during the rainy season. With the proceeds from her activities in the incubator Maria has decided to go back to school and is now in grade 11.
